About Me

My name is Howie, and I am a biologist by day and a multipotentialite by night. I am drawn to making things—photographs, prints, paintings, bits of code, and the occasional garden bed. I am equally at home wandering backroads with a camera as I am experimenting with inks, building small tools, or tending plants. This website is my place to gather all those threads: the projects, the curiosities, the half-formed ideas, and the finished pieces. I hope exploring it feels a little like stepping into my workshop—full of variety, a bit eclectic, and always made with genuine curiosity.

children of time by adrian tchaikovsky — Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky. I love a book about humanity trying to survive and then has to deal with the consequences of its past actions.

The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien — The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien. A classic fantasy that I can read over and over again.

Young Sherlock Holmes — An interesting look at Sherlock Holmes, very different that Cumberbatch or Robert Downey Jr.
